The Spring Show Season has been a busy one for horses and riders at Maggie’s Menagerie. Eventing started out with a win in Novice at Sporting Days in Aiken, SC. Abby Sjoberg and Lady Be Good (Fabio I – Main Flare (TB)). Seven Double O (Sabotage – Crescent Moon – Merano) and Maggie Sjoberg placed seventh at Open Training. We wrapped up Eventing at River Glen in TN with a third place finish in Open Training for Seven and Maggie and a sixth place at Novice for Abby and Mystic (Merano – Baroque – Latino).

A two week RMU Hunter/Jumper Show at Chateau Elan in Braselton, GA in May kicked off our jumper season. Abby and Fouroclock Phineas (Fabio I – Evening Primrose – Merano) were Training Level Champions week one. Abby and Conifer (Con Brio – Evening Primrose) placed first or second in all the low jumper classes and won in the training jumpers as well.  Week 2 both horses stepped it up a notch and showed in the level 4’s and level 5’s. Both horses ribboned in every class all week with Abby and Conifer placing 3^rd (just behind Phineas) in their first level 5 together.
