Cacique was just named
the HDS (Houston Dressage Society) 2005 High Point Champion at both 2nd and 3rd
levels, and his rider/trainer Elizabeth Poulin received a Rider Achievement
Award for her work with Cacique. They are currently
competing successfully at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida
at fourth level. Cacique was reserve High Point Champion at Dressage at
Wellington for his performance at fourth level test 3. His FEI debut is
scheduled for the Florida Dressage Classic (part of WEF) February 16-19 at Prix
St. Georges.
He was also awarded two 2005 USDF All Breed Awards: 1) Third Level
Dressage Champion 2) DSHB - Mature Stallion Champion
