When submitting pictures for registering your foal/horse, the following guidelines should be used.

HOW TO TAKE PICTURES FOR IDENTIFICATION

-Please submit your color pictures as shown in the example (sign is optional). 
-Show your horse standing on clean, level ground with all four feet showing clearly.
-Please do not take pictures with a horse standing in tall grass, feet are very hard to see for description/markings.
-Pictures taken from too far away do not show markings clearly.
-Any head markings: a straight head shot, close-up, is always
the best and would be very much appreciated for describing markings.
-Take more pictures for any unusual markings.

Please do not take pictures inside stalls or barns unless you have strong light. Stay away from shadows.
